The   Supplier Quality Engineer will be based in Shenzhen/Shiyan.

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do:

• Develop Process Quality Control Plan for components with suppliers.

•  Provide Technical support in developing supplier process controls and inspection standards e.g. gauges, inspection fixtures, Poka yoke fixtures, cooling (process) fixtures.

•  Develop Test protocols at suppliers for specific quality, engineering, and safety requirements.

• Implement First Article process at supplier site.

• Implement SPC’s and conduct process capability studies (CPK) on critical characteristics for new components and suppliers.

• Develop SPC on critical components at supplier’s processes.

• Lead Corrective and Preventive Action Process concerning supplier quality issues from Supplier site and flex Production Line.

• Provide training to suppliers and auditors on flex component quality and engineering requirements.

• Lead supplier Quality system and process audits.

• Work well with engineering and suppliers together to solve some tough issues, for example, complex gauges/fixtures design, standard measure method definition for some controversial dimensions and CTQ function test method/jig review.

• Take a lead to improve and close the EB/PT/TR findings during new product development.

   

Here is some of what you’ll need (required):

• Bachelor Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering.

• Sound knowledge on plastic injection technology in manufacturing and quality process controls.

• 8D Problem Solving Technique, SPC, FMEA, PPAP, and APQP.

•  English Skill: Can listening, speaking, reading and writing - at least 4 levels.

• Trustworthy, Honest, Pro-active, Hardworking, Responsible, Team Player (extrovert)

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing setup as a Manufacturing, Industrial or Quality Engineering Job.

• At least 5 years experiences in supplier quality development and supplier inspection and auditing.

• Excellent communication and supervisory skill.
