WHO WE ARE:

BOA Technology Inc. is the market leader on designing and manufacturing of closure systems for shoes. The company was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, US. It also has offices in Austria, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and China. HK & China offices are acting as the regional supply chain/operation hub of Asia. It is responsible for managing all logistic activities, material sourcing, and manufacturing partners/suppliers in the region.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Manage the execution of molds to make sure the molds can meet project requirement.

YOU WILL:

• Work with tooling vendors to provide design feedback and recommendations regarding mold structure and 3d data geometry

• Follow up the NPD mold trial on site and record the issues/problems and come up with effective action plan

• Follow up mold maintenance, repair and scrap for the molds in mass production

• Perform ad hoc task/project when required
  

YOU HAVE:

• College or above and major in Mechanical engineering, Tooling design or related field

• 4 years experiences in mold design and at least 3 year worked as a tooling tracker

• Knowledge of NPD mold qualification process, sample measurement and FAI analysis

• Knowledge of mold making process and familiarity with various machining process, e.g. Milling, Lathe, Grinding, CNC, EDM and WEDM etc.

• Experienced in manufacturing process of plastic and know about insert molding, overmold molding

• Familiarity with Solidworks and MS office software

• Good command of technical English in reading and writing
• A proactive and can-do attitude
  

IT'S A BONUS IF YOU HAVE

• Fluent in verbal English

• Knowledge and experienced in double shot injection molding and mold construction

• Knowledge of Moldflow software

• Knowledge of Science Injection Molding theory

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills including knowledge of data analysis and statistics.
