Job purpose 岗位目的:

The SDA Engineer  is responsible for technical requirements and workable solutions. He/she works closely with Customer and manufacturers and should maintain a good quality for products , Precaution major problem and solve technical problem smoothly , competitively ,low defective ratio in end market.

Job description 职责描述:

1. Sample check, test and evaluate in usability and safety

- Coordinates with our Lab, merchandiser , factory,  etc to make full EV

- Clarify test conditions with Customer & third party 

- Coordinates with merchandiser to full check the inquiry sheet 

- Carry out extensive functional tests on samples received

2. Solve problems in production to improve the quality and increase the output.

- Coordinate with factory ,make CAP & ECN/ECR .

- Check the factory test equipment/ facilities , setting up test lab and good procedures  for factory 

- Handle supply/production problems as they arise 

3. Failure analysis and search solutions in construction/material/workmanship for all testing failures

- Guide factory to make workable solutions. Search solutions to achieve buyer’s performance/usability/ safety /quality requirements 

- Coordinate with different parties in quality improvements and project schedule boosting.

- Communicate with Customer’s QA team for problem solving.

4.  Leadership

- Supervise and coach junior SDA engineer staff

5. Forecasting

- Anticipate possible technical challenges and problems in the current order so that alternative actions or corrective measures can be taken in advance

- Research and give suggestions or ideas about new technologies or new products or latest industry trends

6. Master project kickoff meeting.

- Check each technical specification  ,master project kickoff meeting 

- Precaution potential risk to factory during kickoff meeting 

7. Others

- Ad hoc projects as required by the supervisor 

- The  SDA engineer is required to have business trips mainly in China that may create stressful situation

- The SDA engineer has to monitor and solve technical issues in time which may cause much pressure to the engineer 

- Analyze patents and cooperate with domestic agencies to apply for new patents

Requirement 任职要求:

1. Basic Requirements

- Tertiary education in mechanical or equivalent 

- 10+ years solid engineering experience plus 5 years project management experience from start to delivery. 

2. Knowledge 

- Strong knowledge and experiences in handling SDA products design , additional project knowledge is an advantage 

- Good knowledge of EU / UL standards and regulations concerning product safety and requirements

3. Skills / key competencies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

- Fair in written English

- Good computer skills in MS office

- Good communication skills

- Strong and effective project handling capability

4. Personal Attributes

- Highly self-motivated, able to work independent, creative, organized and with an eye for details

- Reliable and trustworthy

- Good team player 

5. Others

- Experience in overseas buying office will be a definite advantage
