职位描述
Key responsibilities
The individual would be responsible for complete oversight of contract manufacturer reliability activities.
This includes reliability test planning, test execution and reporting, failure analysis and root cause analysis.
The ability to manage different types of reliability test suites at multiple suppliers and produce consistent
reliability test reports would be a crucial part of this position. The successful candidate needs to
demonstrate the ability to resolve any obstacles that the supplier faces in completing all reliability
deliverables.
Professional qualifications
The role requires 3 years of hardware experience in consumer electronics from the preferred disciplines:
reliability engineering, quality engineering, mechanical, electrical or materials engineering.
Minimum requirements
● Demonstrated ability to manage reliability test execution and prepare detailed, well-formatted
reports
● Experience in contract manufacturer / supplier management
● Solid understanding of reliability engineering principles: use condition / accelerated life testing
● Good understanding of failure analysis techniques and reporting
● Expertise in failure mechanism development, root cause analysis and verification methods
Additional requirements
● Knowledge of reliability test standards: JEDEC, ASTM, ISTA etc
● Good understanding of reliability statistics and sampling techniques
● Consumer electronics design / manufacturing / assembly of modules, subsystems and systems
● Basic understanding of reliability test development
● Good understanding of electronics product development cycle
Educational qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: mechanical engineering, chemical engineering,
materials science & engineering, electrical engineering.
Masters preferred (but not required).
