JOB FUNCTIONS & PURPOSE：
Based on the understanding of the Seltrac CBTC requirements, VOBC Software Engineer responsible for the software requirement analysis, design, and coding for the software development part of the VOBC Subsystem. Perform in-house and field testing and test support


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop, design and test embedded software in a real-time operation system environments
2. Documents designs, procedures and programs including elements of change control and configuration management
3. Ensure all safety related requirements are analyzed, designed, implemented and tested formally
4. Perform in-house and field testing and test support
5. Trouble shoots and prepares problem reports
6. To develop expertise in railway signalling, a good understanding of assigned project system(s) and a sound knowledge of company product (e.g. SELTRAC) and subsystems(VOBC, LDC, CDU, ECAN, TOD)

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENT:
1. Knowledge of software engineering practice including development life-cycle, change control and configuration management
2. Proficient C programming language skills/experiences (5 yrs+) in real time operating system environment
3. Experience above on Proficient C++ programming language skills in WinCE environment
4. Knowledge of software automation test
5. Good technical English language writing skills
6. Good planning and organization skills
7. B.Sc. Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
