Primary Responsibilities

• Day-to-day engagement with clients to understand client needs and clarify project requirements, inform about progress on delivery, and respond to queries
• Ability to explain technical project contents or contextual information related to responsible sourcing to the client in an understandable and confident manner with support and oversight from MAP leadership.

KPIs: 

• Client deliverables are delivered to the desired level of quality based on feedback from the Project Advisor and client
• Able to fully understand client needs and adjust project scope accordingly while staying within the constraints of the project scope and budget
• Uses appropriate tone during client communications and engagement. 
• Positive feedback from the client on client service and quality of deliverables based on verbal and written feedback (including client survey)
• At least one instance of explaining technical project contents or contextual information related to responsible sourcing to the client in an understandable and confident manner

Internal Project Management of Client Projects:

• Delegating project tasks, in consultation with the Project Advisor, based on team members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Tracking and maintaining audit tools, in collaboration with Group Audit Manager, and consultation with MAP leaders. 
• Tracking project performance, including successful completion of short- and long-term goals, while fully using RCS Global tools including Harvest and Asana
• Responsibility for maintaining the project invoicing schedule and monthly reporting to MAP leaders and/or CFO
• Monitoring project budgets and propose adjustments to project scope and tasks based on financial analysis, using RCS Global tools including Harvest and Asana
• Developing comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other team members
• Preparing and overseeing the development of project deliverables, ensuring they are delivered to the client on time, within budget and at the desired quality
• Maintaining familiarity with the company MAP Project Process as it relates to roles and responsibilities 
• Support client training delivery on suppliers (commit on average 20% travel) 

 

KPIs: 

• Projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Audit tools use most current formatting, are aligned to project scope, are consistent and up to date, (including audit instructions). 
• Demonstrates ownership and leadership to drive a project or project task forward without having to be reminded, proactively seeks solutions to project problems/issues
• Effectively delegates project tasks and supports the team towards their completion - provides clear guidelines to staff when allocating tasks. 
• Fully uses Asana and Harvest tools for project management. 
• Carefully reads instructions received from other colleagues and follows them through / asks for clarification if necessary.
• Positive feedback from team members on Project Manager’s attitude and internal customer service in general including manner of task delegation and engagement with the team members and senior management.
• Participated in audits as an observer and demonstrate technical understanding when reviewing MAP deliverables such as audit reports / when responding to client queries, when possible.
