Senior Process Engineer Responsibilities:

-          Meeting with production and global team members to assess existing processes, present plan for process    development and share results of completed work.

-          Design of experiment for new products, reduce costs and improve production rates.

-          Performing risk assessments and process failure analysis

-          Designing and testing process upgrades and new process systems.

-          Identify, test and prepare proposals for new process equipment

-          Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards.

-          Performing process simulations and troubleshooting issues.

-          Performing optimization tests.

-          Characterize and failure analyze experiments

-          Developing work instructions and best practices to ensure product meets engineering specification with high reliability and quality.

-          Monitoring existing processes for deviation from established statistical process controls and giving recommendations to production engineering.

Process Engineer Requirements:

-          At least 5 years’ experience working as a process engineer in the semiconductor industry, preferred in an independent role or leadership position.

-          Excellent spoken English and presentation skills.  Ability and willingness to regularly communicate with a global team is required.

-          Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Material Science Engineering (Master’s degree preferred)

-          High-level knowledge of SMT pick-and-place, die bonding and reflow (experience with ASM Pacific or Besi die bonders is a plus).

-          Proven work experience as a Senior Process Engineer.

-          Proven experience with process development for new product introduction

-          Proven experience with design of experiment methodology and knowledge statistical process control

-          Experience with semiconductor characterization tools (SEM, EDS, XRD, XRF, white light interferometry, microCT, CSAM)

-          Proven experience with failure analysis methodology

-          Prove experience with surface mount technology and standard operating procedures.

-          Ability to project manage and work independently to deadlines established by global strategy.

Personal computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE and relational database.

? Possess some limited knowledge of new product development processes and work flow

? Possess a working knowledge of some SBU product lines

? Basic knowledge of a particular technical area

? Strong electronic components soldering and assemble experience

? Good command of English

Education / Experience 

? Bachelor’s degree or above in an engineering field.

? 5 years or above related working experience
