As a Procurement Specialist, you will be working closely with the New York Procurement Team taking charge of order placement and supplier management to ensure the vendor performance meets our expectations. A constant close cooperation with cross-functional teams is also important for this role supporting the growth of company business.

 

Responsibilities 

●      Execute product ordering and other operational procurement processes

●      Maintain materials master to ensure accurate SKU data

●      Work closely with forecasting and planning in New York

●      Ensure supplier compliance with purchasing terms and agreements

●      Monitor and track production/delivery working closely with logistics to ensure on time delivery

●      Purchase order placement and confirmation of ship dates with vendors

●      Identify opportunities for process improvement, inventory and total landed cost reduction

●      Collect invoice and assist finance to arrange payment

●      Experienced in Cost Negotiation with Vendors to drive overall cost efficiencies.

●      Coordinate product changes

●      Track supplier business, quality and logistics performance

●      Reports to Director Sourcing and Procurement

Preferred Qualifications

●      2 years experience in Sourcing and Procurement

●      Procurement experience in home and kitchen appliances

●      Effective communicator, good interpersonal skills and negotiation skills

●      Skilled with computer software for Google Suite, MS Office, ERP etc.

●      Familiar with supply chain management and MRP/SAP is a plus

●      Highly motivated, fast learner, energetic, enthusiastic, good team-player and good analytical skill with ability to work independently

●      Preferable bachelor degree in International Trade, Business English or proven skills through experience

●      Experience working in a US or multinational company is a plus

●      Bilingual in both Mandarin and English
