岗位职责:

? Develop fully integrated lithium-ion battery systems which are compatible with Vertiv power devices such as UPS and telecom power equipment. Completed designs will be required to meet global product certification requirements such as UL, CE etc.
? Build a battery system engineering team in China with sufficient competency to independently develop battery systems for global applications. Developing lithium battery knowledge in all team members and coaching development engineers are critical success factors.
? Contribute to the global product platform strategy within Energy Storage to maximize development efficiency and re-use.
? Ensure that testing of prototype designs meets the performance requirements established for each development project.
? Facilitate transfer of product designs to Vertiv or supplier manufacturing facilities globally.
? Lead the development of a battery vendor qualification process including definition of required lab facilities within Vertiv.
? Support Vertiv’s field service organizations in Asia as a subject matter expert on lithium-ion batteries.

任职资格:

? Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5+ years of experience in multi-disciplinary systems engineering
? Master’s in Engineering degree preferred
Demonstrated experience integrating lithium-ion battery systems required
? 5+ years managing technical direct reports
? Track record of delivering development projects on time and on budget
? Superior communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization in English
? Working knowledge of lithium-ion battery suppliers (particularly in China) preferred
? Experience creating a new team within an existing organization preferred
? Experience with functional safety processes for critical systems e.g. IEC61508, ISO26262 or similar preferred
