Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conduct internal technical training to our existing technicians/engineer, and to ensure their technical skill levels are continuous upgrading.

2. Implement action to prevent occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality system.

3. Identify key process equipment and provide appropriate resources for machine/equipment maintenance and develop an effective planned total preventive maintenance system.

4. Analysis of repetitive equipment failures. Proceed in-house repairing as much as possible.

5. Contact and communicate with professional repairing specialist to ensure repairing success.Evaluate availability of replacement parts for key manufacturing equipment.

6. Responsible for monitoring the workload and work quality of subcontractor.

7. Countersign & control all 5 why issues raised with corrective countermeasures.

8. Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.

9. Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.

10. Estimation of maintenance costs and evaluation of alternatives,Forecasting of spare parts.

11.. Assessing the needs for equipment replacements and establish replacement programs when due.

12. Application of scheduling and project management principles to replacement programs.

13. Assessing required maintenance tools and skills required for efficient maintenance of equipment.

14. Assessing required skills required for maintenance personnel.

15. Assessing and reporting safety hazards associated with maintenance of equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above in Mechanical/Electronics, Optics, knowledge of automation control is a plus.

2. Experience of automation equipment.

3. Experience of Clean room practices.

4. At least 7 years or above related working experience with electronics or related industry is preferable.

5. Electrician qualification certificate, intermediate electrician certificate or above.
