What you’ll bring to TMS

• Works effectively with suppliers and clients to plan the schedule for the pick-up of product consignments to ensure timely deliveries to the markets
• Coordinates and proactively communicates with internal and external logistics contacts, cross-company counterparts as well as suppliers as needed to ensure a consistent and efficient flow of transportation and logistics management
• Responsible for determining rapid problem solving and corrective action is taken when out of standard shipping conditions occur
• Manage and validate the completeness and accuracy of shipping documents, include specific market requirement, product HTS code, import regulation and client need for shipment and import activities
• Report and analyse the shipping data and activities for continuous improvement of shipping management function
• Review existing shipping processes and reports, participate on process streamline initiatives and develop standard operating procedure
• Train the suppliers for new shipping procedure when necessary
• Support supervisor for market research, studies new import requirement for on-going business needs
• Coordinate with supplier, forwarder and client for confirming the container maximum load or load diagram

Skills and experience we’d like you to have

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in shipping with global touchpoint experience with 2 years supervisory experience, managing teams a benefit
• Ability to work across multiple facets of a highly complex and global organization
• Ability to assimilate into a fast paced, dynamic culture with demanding, changing client needs
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain or a related field, preferred. Additional education or certifications welcome
• Be a total team player; presentable, responsible and efficient
• Passion for continuous improvement
• Precision, accuracy and strong ability to keep details in focus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
