The Electronics Engineer is responsible for circuitry diagram design, solution provided and solve technical problems. He/she works closely with design and new development and manufacturers.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. New product development

- Design the circuitry

- Provide the cost-effective solution

- New circuitry diagram and endurance research

- Solve technical problems

2. Sample testing and evaluation

- Sample function/performance/safety test

- Endurance/life time verification

- Usability and safety evaluation

3. Project involvement

- Guide factory to make workable solutions. Search solutions to achieve buyer’s performance/usability/ safety /quality requirements.

- Coordinate with different parties in quality improvements and project schedule boosting.

- Communicate with customer QA team for problem solving.

4. Forecasting

- Anticipate possible technical challenges and problems in the current order so that alternative actions or corrective measures can be taken in advance.

- Research and give suggestions or ideas about new technologies or new products or latest industry trends.

5. Others

- Ad hoc projects as required by the supervisor

- The electronics engineer is required to have business trips mainly in China that may create stressful situation.

- The electronics engineer has to monitor and solve technical issues in time which may cause much pressure to the engineer.

Requirements and Qualifications:

1. Basic Requirements

- Tertiary education in electronics, automation/information technology or equivalent

- 10+ years solid engineering experience for a project from start to delivery.

2. Knowledge

- Strong knowledge and experiences in handling CE/smart kitchen appliances/SDA products design , additional project knowledge is an advantage

- Good knowledge of EU / UL standards and regulations concerning product safety and requirements e.g. LVD/EMC/ERP norms 60065, 60950, Red….

- Very familiar with consumer electronics.

- Proficient at circuitry and chip-set of amplifier, adapter and re-chargeable battery management

3. Skills / key competencies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

- Able to handle multi-tasks and work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

- Fair in written English

- Good computer skills in MS office

- Good communication skills

- Strong and effective project handling capability

4. Personal Attributes

- Highly self-motivated, able to work independent, creative, organized and with an eye for details

- Reliable and trustworthy

- Good team player

5. Others

- Experience in overseas buying office will be a definite advantage

- Familiar with sound performance would be a plus
