1. Purchase mastercoils and material

(A) Create Purchasing Order to suppliers as per sales &CS request

(B) Check quantities / price

(C) Monitor lead time 

(D) Specification check 

(E) Update of records including Material spec, material number, commercial claims files (EAF)

(F) Chase materials with suppliers

(G) Update specification/fab price in the system and create new material number to generate orders.

(H) Update system for all Purchase Orders, Shipping data, Goods receipts 

(I) Ensure closure of all Purchase related tasks initiated such as receipt of order confirmation, 

(J) Ensure strict adherence by supplier on order specification such as quantity, delivery time, price etc.

(K) Provide periodic and ad-hoc information on all critical updated to CSO such as material delays or shortage

(L) Return/Replace defective materials to vendor if incurred

(O) Metal control and balance off

(P) Settle Payment to suppliers

2. Input "Goods In Transit" to System

(A) Receive shipping documents from supplier, check and input in system on time

(B) Maintain incoming materials plan and also peralert for any overshipped or lessshipped orders. Passing relevant document to warehouse /customs staff to ensure material smoothly receive.
