PRIMARY REPONSABILITIES

• Develop a local marketing strategy & marketing plan for the company in line with company objectives

• Overseeing the local marketing budget making sure effective use of allocated money and that budget is kept (no overspend)

• Managing and implementing local marketing & PR, including company’s WeChat, web and social media channels, based on alignment with the Marketing Manager

• Translation and proof reading (from English to Chinese) of all marketing & PR material, in line with local marketing plans

• Translation (from Chinese to English) of local insights, such as external Chinese presentations, media coverage and competitor’s communication to share knowledge globally

• Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of local marketing activities

• Manage external resources needed for different local marketing related assignments, such as production and event agencies

• Co-ordinate local marketing activities with local sales activities & plans

• Coordinate and participate in local trade shows, such as Automechanika, working with Sales & Marketing Manager to market the company’s products

• Be the key local contact for external local customers and partners for Marketing related activities (such as Volvo Cars China and Blueair China)

• Consult with Marketing Manager and coordinate local feedback around product communication for the local market

SECONDARY REPONSABILITIES

• Work closely with Marketing Manager to align on internal & external communication (values, tone-of-voice etc)

• Share relevant Chinese industry news internally
