Assistant Sourcing Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support AG Global Sourcing strategy
· Proactively develop new vendors every year to cope with business growth
· Evaluate and qualify new vendors with their quality, cost, capacity and capability
· Continuous improve and nurture existing vendors' performance
· Develop and maintain a partnership relationship with our key vendors
· Improve the process flow and procedure for the vendors
· Provide training program to the vendors to improve their performance and skillset
· Collaborate with Global Sourcing team, Product Development, Graphics and Quality team to improve the sourcing process
· Regular communication with Global Sourcing team on program execution and cost savings opportunities
· Effectively communicate in cross-function team settings
· Responsible for the 1st time order and shipment management for new vendors together with Global Sourcing team
· Expert in category and industry best practices
· To complete other duties as assigned by the company

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor degree with 3+ years' experience in printing industry
· Purchasing, customer service or production planning experience
· Strong team player and self motivated
· Independent, systematic and attentive to details
· Proficient in spoken and written English
· Travel required, hard-working and can work on details
