Responsibilities:

Provide direction to suppliers about shipment, checking documents and accurately key in the details into company information system

Complete and provide full set of shipping documents, imports documentation, particularly to comply with Customs requirements

Prepare accurate internal reports on time

Communicate with forwarders to ensure all shipments on time and avoid demurrage in customs clearance

Keep track of shipping schedule and assist liaison with various parties

Assist Shipping Supervisor to prepare payment requisition for approval

Requirements:

College graduate or above with good command of English and computer skills.

At least one year of relevant working experience in shipping field or buying office or trading firm or freight forwarder

Stable employment record

A good team player with good communications skills and capability to interact effectively with all levels

Proficiency in PC skills to include Word & Excel

Willing to work overtime in peak season
