Summary/Overview:
Be responsible for ensuring processes, systems and implementation plans are in place to manage both the technical and process integrity of the assets in compliance with NFX'S standards, policies, procedures and industry regulations. Provide engineering advice and support to offshore personnel.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day discipline technical support to offshore operation (e.g. Investigate Incidents, Troubleshoot Process, planning and execution of the all major work including shutdowns etc. )
Lead discipline improvements in plant reliability and safety
De-bottlenecking and optimize the performance of existing processing facilities
Initiate and mature proposals for improvements leading to increased production and/or reduced costs
Determination of economical optimum process parameters regarding energy consumption
Performance mini-tests and special test runs in collaboration with plant operators and lab
Preparation and continual updating of key indicators of the production plants
Troubleshooting in collaboration with the operators and performing root-cause analyses
Preparation and assessment of studies and modifications
Involvement in defining and follow-up of research activities
Responsible for ensuring relevant engineering documents and technical aspects associated with operation procedures are up to date and their technical approval where delegated
Define outline Specific Operation Requirement(SOR) for improvements (modifications, overhauls, studies, repairs)
Support Risk Management Process
Responsible for technical review and approval of technical content associated with operating procedures, first-time maintenance deferrals, set point changes and Risk Assessments within discipline.
Provide input to MOC and participates to PHA/HAZOP, etc. as required.
Carry out regular offshore visits with a particular focus on Process Safety Systems and audit follow-up
Education, Qualifications & Experiences:
· Bachelor degree in petroleum engineering or similar specialty
· Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience
· Strong analytical skills to solve complex problems
· HSE awareness and familiar ERP process
· Creative, precise and innovative in finding solutions to process problems
· Knowledge of petroleum industry, exploration and production preferred
Required Competencies/Skills:
· Proficient computer skills
· Good command of spoken and written English
· Team work spirit, with initiative, can work under pressure
