职位描述：1.负责以太产品硬件设计，编写硬件设计文档、测试文档及其他相关文档；2.与欧洲同事接洽，确保相关技术在欧洲与中国的平稳过渡与转化；

职位要求：1.计算机、通信、电子、自动化及相关专业，本科及以上学历；2.七年以上硬件/电子线路板开发经历，有通信行业特别是以太网方面工作经历者优先；3.熟练掌握硬件设计、原理图输入、CPLD设计、数字通信设计、微处理器子系统设计等相关知识和技能；4.英语熟练，能够与欧洲和美国同事进行跨文化交流；5.有项目管理经验者优先；6.有敬业精神，工作积极主动，责任心强，良好的学习沟通能力和团队合作意识。


Principle Tasks/Generic Tasks:
The following list defines the main tasks of the Senior R&D Hardware Engineer:

1. Help to build up a strong and skilled Hardware team including
oSetting up a hardware development environment as defined by ADVA
2. Act as the technical driver in future hardware projects
3. Form the main interface towards related hardware technical personnel in Europe, making sure that the required technical skill set is transferred from Europe to all hardware Engineers in China
4. Make sure that products developed in China fits from a functional point of view into our existing product portfolio
5. Provide preliminary costings on a best guess estimate to allow the assessment of project direction.
6. Assist with preparation of documents to allow projects to progress through the company's development process
7. Contribute to the writing of System and Functional specifications of the products developed, i.e. be an active part in the early design phase of a product.
8. Be an active part of hardware projects, i.e. do hardware development.

1. R&D in China and Europe will be the main interfaces

Personal Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:
1. Fluent written and spoken English
2. Experience hardware/electronic board development
3. Experience with development of telecommunication products, particularly Ethernet
4. In-depth knowledge of
oLow cost Hardware design
oSchematic capture & simulation
oCPLD design
oHigh speed digital design >1GHz
oData-communication design
oMicro-processor subsystem design
5. Master of Science degree or equivalent
6. Understanding of European & USA culture and ways of doing business
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Open, honest, loyal
9. Team player
10. Minimum 7 years work experience
11. Potential to become either a Hardware team leader or a Project Manager is a plus
