Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead team members working on several different projects;

2. Mentor team members in skill improvement and career development;

3. Coordinate with and support internationally based product development teams;

4. Assist with product design, planning, and development;

5. Work with local and international vendors for product development support;

6. Conduct research into new technologies for future products.

Requirements:

1. A BS (MS preferred) in Computer Science or a related technical field;

2. 8 or more years of experience in Embedded Software design and development;

3. Professional working proficiency in written and spoken English;

4. Familiarity with software development tools and processes (C, git, Jira, etc.);

5. Familiarity with microcontroller software design;

6. Familiarity with embedded Linux and Android on the BSP level;

7. Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and wireless communications (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, etc.).
