GoPro is looking for a Systems Software Engineer to be part of a cross-functional team that develops Image Quality Test Systems for GoPro’s camera production.

    

    

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain system Software and scripts for Image Quality test systems. The software will communicate with the camera or camera module under test, control the equipment, record results, and apply pass/fail criteria. The SW typically includes a GUI for the operator/user. The system SW also interfaces with the database in the factory.
• Develop and mantain test algorithms for Image Quality testing and calibration.
• Write technical specifications for test SW, both for internal developments and for SW developed by third party vendors.
• Communicate technical requirements, bugs, results, etc. with GoPro’s Image Quality team, FW team, operations team, and other stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot/debug software, both internally developed and third-party SW.
• Travel to GoPro’s partners to support installation, debugging, and validation of IQ test systems.

                            

    

Skills We’re Stoked About

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Minimum 8 years experience developing SW for manufacturing/testing of cameras, camera modules, or similar products.
• Experience with image processing
• Solid understanding of camera FW
• Strong proficiency with Python, C, C++, and Matlab.
• Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin, both verbally and in writing.
