DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
? Candidates for this position are required to have hands-on experience on EMC/EMI and/or Product Safety testing.
? Monitor testing at 3rd party test and certification labs
? Collect, review and release RC test plans, reports, and certificates.
? Ensure products comply with domestic and international RC regulations.
? Experience with overseas ODMs a plus but not a must.
? Candidate must be able to write technical documents clearly and concisely.
? Maintain international RC Standards Library
? Candidate must have knowledge of local certification processes and must be able to interact with local and US and European certification authorities.
? Assist in RC program and product management; track budget, invoices, schedule, etc.
? Work from oral and written instructions
? Good understanding of global consumer electronics EMC/EMI and Product Safety standards such as UL, FCC, CE, CISPR, ELV, RTTE, etc. is a must.
? Understanding of environmental / sustainability requirements such as Prop 65, RoHS, Reach, Energy efficiency etc. is preferred.
? Setup of routine RC verification / validation test procedures and operations; taking measurements and recording data, maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and the writing of test reports.


EDUCATION
? B.S. degree required in engineering discipline, compliance, EE or ME preferred.


EXPERIENCE
? Minimum seven years' experience in the field of compliance with hands-on experience. Solid experience in Consumer Electronics or equivalent
? Solid analytical skills. Understand and able to generate and communicate in compliance language
