PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  1、Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software, using standard business and administrative packages; may modify   specific applications for use in operational departments

  2、Installs, assemble and configure computers, monitors, network infrastructure and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware; pulls cables and rewires or directs the rewiring of cables as required for new installations and office reconfiguration.

  3、Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required.

  4、Handle user account and email address creation and administration

  5、Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data; staffs a centralized help desk to facilitate exchange of information and advice; implements solutions or notifies outsource providers as required.

  6、Makes hardware and software acquisition recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification for equipment and services.

  7、Manage and troubleshoot Windows servers running 2008+ R2 and

  Linux Red Hat Enterprise

  8、Create and modify Users Rights on Active directory.

  9、Create and modify User Rights on Internal Mobile Application. Be able to connect to a SQL Server Database to modify specific fields in a table/database, drop connections and troubleshoot performance.

10、Proactively elevate any issue that can potentially compromise the business operation i.e. storage limitations, server overload, violation of security, etc.

  11、Effective Communicator, gathers information and can analyze data to synthetize into issues and possible solutions

  12、Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

  PREFERRED EXPERIENCE,QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  Expertise in:

  

• Minimum of 2 years work experience in the IT field

• Familiarity with BASH shell: file permissions and handling, Linux processes and networking management.

• ODBC Connectivity Tools (configuration and troubleshot).

• Advanced knowledge of Android operating system: configuration,app and permissions management, and hardware basic troubleshot.

• 
  

• Advanced knowledge of and experience with desktop and laptop computers and a variety of peripherals

• Familiarity with MongoDB CRUD operations and clients.

• Basic MS-SQL Knowledge (Administration – Backup, Troubleshot).

• T-SQL understands how to write simple SQL Statements.

• Understand WIFI connectivity and Troubleshot.

• Familiarity with TCP/IP, network routing protocols, connectivity

• protocols, wireless, and broadband technologies.

• Familiarity with RDP configuration in Windows environment.

• Remote connection tools VPN Barracuda/Firewall and Site 2 Site

• configurations.

 Qualifications:

  

• BS degree in IT field preferred, but will consider years of experience combined with IT certifications

• Read and speak in English

• Must be a self-starter with the ability to work alone, or in a team environment with limited supervision

• Acts in an ethical and truthful manner, leading by example and earning the respect and trust of co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders

• Flexible and adaptive
