About the team

Acoustics & Electronics team is responsible for Acoustics & Electronics product research and design, including technology insights, pre-conceptual development, production management of Zound’s three audio brands in the whole China region. 

The role

The primary responsibility for this role is supporting and boosting the capabilities of Zound China Acoustics. Our ambition is not only to implement new technologies in new projects in R&D but also enhance the acoustic performance in production management. Last but not least, we will thrive the development of new products to be more innovative and user-friendly.

What we’re looking for

Zound is now looking for an Acoustic Engineer to join our office in Shenzhen, China. We′re looking for a self-motivated person with strong learning skills, passionate audio or acoustics and pragmatic mindset. You′re used to take own initiatives and are always pushing for continuous improvements. At Zound Industries we are passionate and dedicated about what we do - and we expect no less from you.

Roles & responsibilities

1. Acoustic evaluations of product performance, document structure, component screening and all sorts of proposals新项目产品声学文件评审，性能评估，器件选型与方案评估

2. Collaboration with mechanical and electronic engineers to propose improvement plan to achieve acoustic targets与结构、电子工程师协作，提出改善方案以达到声学指标

3. Raise up risks and provide proposals in acoustic verification stage and monitor the handwork and acoustic test station in contracted factories声学验证阶段提出风险和方案，监控生产线的手工工艺和声学测试站

4. Handle acoustic test and test report independently with subjective listening evaluations独立处理产品的声学测试与测试报告并主观听音评估

5. Other assigned by team leader .

Requirment 要求：

- Bachelor of Electronics, Acoustics or Computer Science is preferred. 本科及以上学历，电子、声学或计算机科学专业优先

- Experienced in Audio Precision, SoundCheck, CRY and Klippel RD 需要具有Audio Precision, SoundCheck, CRY 和Klippel RD测试经验

- Self-motivated, strong learning and team collaboration skills 自我激励型有较强的学习能力和团队协作能力

- Handle multi-task and accept occassion travelings to near cities 并行处理多项任务的能力和接受偶尔出差去临近城市

- Humble and adaptive person to a fast-growing company 为人谦虚，适应高速成长企业环境

- Good written and verbal English communication skills 书面及口头英语俱佳

- At least 2 years working experience in R&D and preferred experience in ANC至少2年声学研发经验并且有降噪处理经验优先

- At least 3 years audio industrial experience 至少3年音频行业从业经验
