Position: China Visual Merchandising Manager

Department: Visual Merchandising

Location: Shanghai

Direct Supervisors : Director, Visual Merchandising - Asia Pacific

Purpose of the Position:

Ensure the consistency and uniformity of Versace Group Brands image within China Retail stores, with respect to the guidelines received from the Director, Global Visual Merchandising and in accordance with the Director, Visual Merchandising – Asia Pacific (direct report).

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

· Organize, lead and manage visual merchandising team on all visual merchandising activities according to company policies and in order to meet assigned targets

· Enhance communication with VM team and stores and train on maintaining the display standards execution across China

· Ensure the store displays are implemented periodically in order to give greater visibility to the products and to support the business in increasing sales

· Support and communicate with Merchandising and Retail team proactively to ensure the merchandising set-up is consistent with Global set-up schedule.

· Customize demonstration based on Global and Asia Pacific guidelines, sales strategies and local markets’ needs, and provide display advice to VM team and stores to follow easily

· Plan VM team’s regular store visits in China to ensure that brand and visual merchandising standards are maintained in all stores and cross check the set-up quality of the team to ensure the display set-up is up to standards

· Prepare and guide VM team to compose display report after visit and share with Asia Pacific Visual office on monthly basis

· Control VM travel budget

· Plan new VM tools orders and consolidate existing tools prior to the store opening

· Manage suppliers & vendors relationships

· Manage the rotation of product items in the shop according to display criteria defined by the Regional Visual Merchandising Manager

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree on merchandising or related major

· 8 years’ work experience in retail/luxury industry on VM role

· 3 years’ work experience to lead a team

· Advanced verbal communication and presentation skills in English

· Strong fashion sense

· Able to work under pressure
