Key Responsibility:

？ Be the Senior Strategic Buyer of Fabrics & Trims for all soft goods within the Asia Pacific Sourcing Team, this includes:

？ Set the right business direction and sourcing strategy for the total supply chain for the category

？ Assure implementation of the sourcing strategy by leading project purchasers, site purchasers and other stakeholders

？ Manage strategic supplier relations and support in supplier negotiations with key suppliers

？ Lead development of new materials and new production technologies together with Product development

？ Set KPI’s and assure achievement of KPI’s for the total category for delivery performance, quality, cost development, social compliance and new product development capabilities

？ Responsible for supplier classification and supplier structure build up

？ Drive competence development within the category

？ Search for potential backup suppliers and conduct counter sourcing.

？ Consolidate materials & supplier base.

？ PPV & cost analysis

Deliverables：

？ Category strategy development

？ Implementation of category strategy throughout the whole supply chain

？ KPI’s for total category and assure achievement of set KPI’s in procurement operations

？ Lead and develop procurement operations towards high performance culture

？ Competence development throughout the organisation within Fabrics & Trims (materials, production technologies, innovations, etc)

？ Secure contract coverage with suppliers

？ Optimize cost within the category including identifying cost savings and secure PPV reporting and development in accordance with market development and identified cost savings

Requirement：

Work Experience

？ Experience from category management sourcing in an international business environment

？ Experience from working with Fabrics & Trims related materials from an engineering- or production point of view.

？ Deep knowledge of production- and process cost drivers with Fabrics & Trims

？ Strong supplier market knowledge and deep understanding of production technologies for this specific category.

？ Higher education, preferably within engineering, business economics or comparable working experience

？ Fluent in English (speaking and writing)

？ Ability to travel
