.Job Title: Sourcing Manager

Working Location: Shenzhen Office

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above in engineering, business, technology or related disciplines.
2. Minimum 8 years purchasing or equivalent experience in household/consumer electronics industry or related field.
3. Lean manufacturing/supply chain efficiency experience is preferred.
4. Good knowledge in the product quality standard and regulations for Euro and US Market.
5. Have experience with quality methodologies.
6. Exceptional command of oral and written English, good teamwork.
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
8. Be capable of Supplier management and Project management, Supply Chain Experience a plus.
9. PC literate including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
10. Be able to travel frequently.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Setup a supplier database with general, capacity, engineering info, and purchase, logistic and quality structure.
2. Setup a new supplier selection program with quick checks and ISO audits.
3. Advise suitable suppliers for specific projects to divisions.
4. Advise alternative suppliers to divisions.
5. Negotiate with suppliers on lead time reduction, payment terms, quality maintenance and service level.
6. Indicate potential cost savings. Be strong in locating new suppliers all over China and be part of the supplier selection procedure.
7. Work out supplier agreements on the cooperation on logistics, quality, and financial aspects.
8. Make and follow up on action plans with the suppliers on different disciplines.
9. SRM (Supplier Relationship Management)
10. Continuously analyze company's competitiveness and innovations in the market.
11. Work independently, and direct with the Regional (US/Europe/UK/Australia/Latin America) teams for management of project and follow thru with the team in Project and Quality control management. Travel outside China when necessary.
12. Leading projects to improve the performance/quality of our sourced products and to drive our total costs down at the same time.
13. Monitor global demand vs. Supplier capacity and keep key take holders informed of any problem areas to avoid
