Construction Document Specialist

Job Summary

The Construction Document Specialist creates construction drawings and specifications for a complex, project-based business unit specializing in professional services. As part of our studio teams, the Construction Document Specialist is responsible for the accurate and efficient documentation of design solutions and specifications to ensure that each project meets client expectations for quality, budget, and schedule.

Job Duties

1. Create and manage the production of drawings.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

a. Set up internal drawings to support referenced external files

b. Complete sheet layouts for final construction document set

c. Create and annotate interior elevations, sections and details for client presentations and final construction document creation

2. Troubleshoot basic technical issues with AutoCAD and related software.

3. Complete user testing for new releases of design software.

4. Assist in other admin/sourcing issues assigned

Qualifications:

• Above Associate’s Degree, preferably Architectural Drafting/ Construction Technology or Interior Design.
• 2+ years of experience in document creation and management within the Architectural/Interior Design field.
• Proven experience creating accurate, concise construction documents.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture 2011 and related peripheral applications.
• Ability to complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings
• Experience with rendering software such as SketchUp and 3d Studio Max
• AutoCAD support programs: CAP, KCL, and Dot Soft tools
• Advanced verbal and writing communication skills in English.

建筑设计/制图师

工作职责

1. 独立地完成各项目的组织协调、创意设计与绘图制图工作，完成指导效果图、模型、文本等后期制作与配合工作；

2. 协调其他建筑师完成相应的设计工作；

3. 同美国总公司交流，在业务汇报中表达设计内容；

4. 执行管理人员分配的其他任务。

工作要求

1. 建筑学相关专业大专或以上学历，两年以上建筑/室内设计相关工作经验；

2. 熟悉建筑设计相关的流程与规范，具备良好的协助完善，深化，发展设计的工作能力；

3. 掌握并熟练运用Auto CAD Architecture 2011, CAP, KCL, SketchUp, 3D Studio Max, Dot等软件，能在各种制图、排版等工作中做到规范，熟练与准确；

4. 掌握良好英语读写能力；

5. 工作严谨，注重细节；

6. 具有良好职业道德，有较强的责任心，独立工作能力以及团队协作力。
