Report to project manager of Globe China, the Regulatory Engineer is responsible for product testing and certification (lighting, power cords), ensuring a smooth project development and strategic involvement in regulatory initiatives.

  

Main Tasks

  

1. Review new project requirements, identify certification needed, complete project job sheet

  

2. Collaborate with PD to order samples, evaluate samples and send to test lab or certification body as necessary

  

3. Test quotation review, result tracking, report maintenance

  

4. Testing cost reimbursement document preparing, Monthly testing cost summary

  

5. Work with supplier on failure analysis and trouble shooting

  

6. Prepare new product label sheet

  

7. Take care of any outstanding issues related to customer test and certification

  

Relationships

  

1. Active relationship with factories, PD team, Globe, test lab/certification body

  

Requirements

  

1 Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechanical;

  

2 Two years of experience in product test, regulatory certification (can be in labs or factory) Knows basic UL153 UL1598 certification procedures.

  

3 Experience in lighting products, light bulb, Power Bars is preferred;

  

4 Good skill in use of Word, Excel, Outlook

  

5 Good written English;

  

6 Optimized communication

  

7 Can work under pressure;
