Brief summary of Functions

    

Provide onsite support for desktop management, asset management and physical support for other IT equipment including servers, switches, printers & cabling, etc.

    

    

Functions

    

• Provide onsite/remotely support to China Offices for IT incidents
• Desktop/Laptop management
• Install / Move / Add / Change / Decommission support for IT equipment (PCs, Laptops, Printers, Servers)
• Support and advice for Facilities Management/Office Services regarding office move planning
• Support Hardware and Software asset management/tracking/auditing for devices not connected to the network and according to Emirates Shipping Liner Global processes
• WAN / LAN Network Cabling/troubleshooting/Setup, Good Communication skill with Telecom is an advantage
• On-call support for critical incidents outside of normal business hours and emergency situations as part of BCP requirement
• Support for other locations/offices as appropriate
• Procure requested hardware according to Emirates purchasing procedures
• Support general OS/MS office/other application during problems or corruptions
• Coordinate with hardware vendors on installation, hardware failures or upgrades (PCs, Servers, Laptops, Printers, Telephony)
• Able to work with different Support Teams within the organization
• Sufficient knowledge on Windows Servers, Active Directory, MS Exchange 2016, Linux, EDI system
• Knowledge on firewall and switches
• Management of equipment servicing through Emirates appointed vendors
• Launching of systems and support

Qualifications: University graduate in IT

Experience: IT operations experience 7+ years

Language： English in written and spoken

Special knowledge:       

proficient in MS products

PC hardware and peripheral troubleshooting skills

Basic server and network troubleshooting skills (knowledge of Active Directory/knowledge of File and Print service

Risk management awareness

Time management

Effective communication

People skills
