QC Engineer
The QC engineer’s role is to lead and continually improve quality control efforts in China. This will involve factory on-site inspections, creating and/or evaluating corrective action plans with our vendors as well as various products testing, and managing/training a staff of QC inspectors. Reporting on inspections, testing activities, and manufacturing timeline are required. Must be willing to work flexible hours in order to communicate with US office as required.
Responsibilities:
? Travel to vendor/factories frequently for inline/final inspection before shipment to US
? Report inspection results/issues to Manager as required
? Provide/Review corrective action with factory for quality issues and help factory to improve their quality management
? Check production status and push factory for on-time delivery
? Manage and train a team of quality inspectors
? Lead and be responsible for improving overall quality and improving factory process
? Update BOM, and product drawing whenever necessary and communicate to US office
Minimum Qualifications:
? BS/BA in Engineering
? Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management and/or engineering and manufacturing
? Highly proficient in MS Office (Advanced in Excel)
? Ability to read and modify engineered or technical drawings, using ACAD or Solidworks
? Strong English Skills in Reading, Writing, Listening, spoken English is required
? Willing to travel to factories to analyze processes and work with their staffs on improvements
? Team player with high level of self-initiative, result-oriented, and quality driven
? Excellent communication skills and experience working with US companies is highly preferred
? Strong knowledge of laboratory testing requirements
? Clear understanding from design to manufacturing stage and knowledge on product design, development, and manufacturing engineering of houseware products.

? Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
