Job Title: Project Engineering Manager

Contract Duration: 1.5 Years, 8 hours/day, 6 day/week

Location: Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, China

Job Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Ensuring the project is administered and executed to the satisfaction of stakeholders in accordance to the highest ethical, safety and quality standards and compliant with the Company policies and procedures.
• Establishing a relationship and liaising with the Client Representative in the administration and coordination of the Project.
• Ensuring that a review is undertaken of the lessons learned database to extract past lessons that can be implemented on the project.
• Managing the project to meet cost, schedule, safety, quality and contractual requirements to the satisfaction of internal and external customers.
• Developing the final organization chart for the Project, clearly indicating the Project assigned as well as Project dedicated personnel and their respective lines of reporting. Recommend the project staffing requirement to HR department for the recruitment. Ensuring that other departments provide the personnel and services in a timely manner based on the respective mobilization plans.
• Fostering an environment of building team morale and building consensus within the team.
• Adhering to Company safety standards and promoting a safety culture to all.
• Reviewing and approving project expenditures, costs, estimates, budgets, financial forecasts and project schedules.
• Ensuring and identification, tracking and management of all changes in the Scope of Work, schedule and execution methodology of the Project, and that all changes are captured through the Project Variation Management System.
• Preparing weekly and monthly Project updates/ reports to Management and attending all management project reviews.
• Reviewing and disseminating all Project related correspondence and other Project documentation internally and externally.
• Holding members of the project team accountable for performance of their assigned tasks.
• Facilitating timely problem resolution with the project team members.
• Arranging and attending all meetings required with the Client/ Customer Representative, and ensuring that other Jutal personnel and Subcontractor personnel as required are present.
• Ensuring that written procedures required for the Project are produced in accordance with contractual requirements and in accordance with the milestones specified in the Contract.
• Ensuring that all other contractual items including but not limited to financial instruments, completion certificates and warranties are in place for the contract.
• Approval of invoices for the completed work and follow-up with Client/ Customer regarding timely invoice payments.
• Liaising with the Project Quality Manager to ensure that the project is being performed in accordance with the quality plan, and ensuring that final certification is carried out in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Reviewing and approving the Project Close out report.
• Ensuring any off-target performance to be escalated to the immediate attention of the responsible senior management officer who can support the Project in affecting the application of resources needed to correct the off-target performance.
• Ensuring that Lessons Learned are being input to the Lessons Learned System on an ongoing basis.

Job Holder Requirement

Qualifications:

? Expats who can speak Chinese and present in China now, or Chinese who can speak good English and has good experience as sub-contractor/construction side representative.

? Candidates whose experience either in module or jacket construction will be preferred

? A recognized degree in any Engineering discipline from an accredited college or university.
