Position Title: Senior QA Engineer-APQ/Reliability



Job Purpose:

Manages the overall product testing for NPD projects and existing products and focus more on reliability
aspects
Oversees the implementation of key protocols related to Advance Product Quality, its implementation
and related systems compliance .
Leads the QA support functions in driving the full implementation of Reliability Test management,
Measurement System Analysis & Calibration system, Metrology approaches, and Advanced Product
Quality Planning deployment; thereby collaborations with other functional teams are expected .
Represents QA in discussion and reviewing data ,records, and requirements with GBUs and other
functional teams related to NPD and improvement with existing products with relation to product testing
and measurement protocols.


Main Responsibilities and deliverables:

To provide leadership and direction to the Advance Product Quality Planning and to ensure full
implementation by the quality team, manufacturing team, Engineering, production, and total
operations.
To help ensure that the FPI /measurement protocols for NPD parts are properly and correctly
carried out.
To help assist the existing products or parts in term of correct measurement protocols like
upgrading or creating programs for CNC measurement equipment.
To oversee Reliability Test Labs for NPD and existing products, Measurement system &
Metrology, and New Products Quality Systems
To help review that the quality requirements during launching of New Product Development until
turn over transition for Mass Production are carried out by all teams and stake holders
To ensure continuous application of Core Tools in NPD such as FMEA , APQP ,
PPAP, Statistical QC Tools, Measurement System Analysis, and Control Plan
To help ensure that the testing data and inspection records during NPD stages are summarized
properly and reviewed timely.
To help review all necessary documents and applicable items in the PPAP checklist , CDI
checklist and NPD checklist are followed by all teams
To help ensure that necessary gauges, fixtures, and test equipment necessary to launch NPD
products and improving the existing products are prepared and available
To help ensure that existing test fixtures, gauges, and equipment are maintained, improved, and
replenished on time without affecting or causing delays to the NPD product test and production
product testing.


Qualifications:

BS Engineering / Degree on Engineering Sciences
At least 10 years of working experience as Quality , including Reliability Testing ,Advance Product Quality , New Product Introduction , Metrology and Measurement System
Basic Microsoft Applications
A progressive thinker who can think out of the box
An innovative and dynamic individual
Strong understanding of the quality process and manufacturing operations


Knowledge & Skills:

Problem Solving-Prevention Tools Approach such as Global 8D Methodology , FMEA , and Control Plan
Core Tools for Advance Product Quality Plan like PPAP , MSA , SPC
Familiar on Metrology System and Able to program CNC measurement equipment
Familiar on New Product Development concept-for Quality Assurance application
Familiar and Experienced on Managing and handling Reliability Testing
Have knowledge on Basic Quality Management Systems related to ISO9001
Have Knowledge & Experience on Basic SPC Implementation
Have Knowledge on Basic QC Tools Applications
Have knowledge on AQL Sampling Application
Familiar on Measurement System Analysis Application
