General Description:

The Sourcing Executive will be responsible for global development and management of the supply base for assigned commodities through sustainable supply and cost reduction achieved through supplier selection and management to best suit Kogan and our customers'need.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the strategic sourcing management goals of the company and implement action items to ensure that those goals are achieved.
• Identify new suppliers to support Kogan’s new product roadmap. Act as the liaison among Exclusive Team, Purchasing Management, and Product Quality Assurance to resolve business issues.
• Responsible for managing supply contracts and negotiate business terms, i.e. Supply agreement, price setting, payment terms, supply flexibility, liability clauses, for the most advantageous cost service guarantee and develop “win-win” strategies that achieve sustainable relationships with suppliers.
• Partner closely with Exclusive Team and Purchasing Management to develop sourcing strategies for the assigned business unit and identify valuable suppliers that can deliver the competitive supply solutions.
• Communicate and assure compliance with the Company’s sourcing requirements.
• Conduct open and regular communications with Exclusive Team, Purchasing Management, and Product Testing to meet the assigned goals and objectives.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships like trade shows, supplier meetings, conferences, etc.

Education and Qualification Requirements:

? A minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in the relevant sourcing / merchandizing experience for either Consumer Electronics/Furniture/Manchester/ Outdoor / Fitness/ Power Tools/Homeware/ Smart Home goods

? College education level or above

? Track record in purchasing or commodity management experience is required. Supply chain experience and understanding of related technologies, industries and market trends are plus.

? Entrepreneurial spirit with in depth knowledge on Strategic Cost Management and a track record in implementing and maintaining high value sourcing strategies

? Ability to multi-task and find balance between strategic thinking and operational activities.

? Strong verbal, written communication and excellent presentation skills ·

Excellent negotiation skills and vendor relationship management, Cross-functional leadership, inter-personal and analytical skills

? Fluency in both spoken and written English

? Proficiency in using computer applications and software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Adobe Illustrator, SAP, Gmail etc.)
