What is this job about?

• Participate the sustainability team and provide all QA support to the success of various initiative
• Ensure the new sustainability initiative meeting applicable Clients’ and International safety standards and product specifications
• Ensure the QA process, training and communications with different stakeholders are happened in a sense of effectiveness and efficiency
• Work with Environmental & Sustainability Affair, Supply chain/sourcing leaders, Operations, Product Development, worldwide agencies, client services, TMS Global Quality & Safety Office and external parties such as Manufacturing Suppliers, Safety Testing Labs

What you’ll bring to TMS

    

• To ensure the products that developed under various sustainability initiatives meeting all applicable international legal and voluntary regulations, standards and client's requirements
• To provide safety/quality input during the development stages, this involves evaluating the concept/design/mock-up/working model, so as to determine the product complies with requirements and to prevent any foreseeable aesthetic/functional/reliability/safety defects from occurring in mass production
• To prepare/develop product safety and quality specifications, and related safety/quality documents
• To conduct product qualification to ensure that products meet safety & reliability specification and fitness for end use. Review testing result and works with project team for corrective action, if any
• To support the new supplier(s) onboard by understanding the QA requirement and expectation
• To provide training/communication with new supplier(s) on the system knowledge
• To connect and utilize the internal SMEs in the product/material assessment and evaluation
• To conduct defect analysis to determine the cause of failure and generate necessary corrective actions to eliminate the recurrence
• To manage product master technical files, and quality records

Skills and experience we’d like you to have

    

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in toys /premium manufacturing or testing field or vendor operation environment, preferable in toys/premium quality assurance area
• Knowledge of International Toys Safety Regulations
• Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles
• Knowledge of Factory Audit skills

• Knowledge of the market trends of sustainability development
• High Certificate/Higher Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related discipline
• Strong analytical skills and results oriented
• Good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to deal with different levels of people
• Ability to drive process improvement
• Good communication in both written and spoken English and Cantonese (Mandarin an advantage)
• Able to travel as necessary
