We are currently looking for a highly motivated Supplier Quality Management Engineer to join our Quality Management team in APAC.  If you want to be a part of our growing company that is driven by innovation and is focused on building a future together with our employees, consider applying. 

1. Supplier QM: actively drives that the highest quality of products/ components in accordance with ADVA specifications & requirement which are delivered from assigned Component Supplier(s) to ADVA        

• Manage the QM issues from  PCBA, Optical and Metal suppliers, mainly in Asia.

• Analyze quality data of supplier(s) assigned, use Supplier Quality Reporting to monitor & analyze product and service quality
  Follow up on complaints (SCAR) with supplier(s) assigned, drive problem solving activities (PSDM method) externally and support internally.

• Define, drive quality assurance measures (rework/screening, recalls, quarantine, supplier waiver) and ensure proper documentation in relevant business applications (SAP system, POOL4TOOL, etc.).

• Represent quality management in meetings with supplier(s) assigned, present quality related analysis results, reports and action plans.

• Negotiate solutions with suppliers and other stakeholders in ADVA.

• Commodity Quality Management for PCB, Optical, Metal commodity team.

• Focus on generic Quality initiatives by commodity

• Represent quality management in the commodity team meetings.

• Provide regular reports/status for/by commodity team

• Define and maintain the IQC process

• Manage the Global setting for defined product line

Knowledge, skills and experience required:

• Degree in engineering or similar qualification
• Formal quality certification and/or well-rounded experience of quality management systems and techniques

• Minimum 5 years quality management experience with at least 3 years in Supplier Quality Management
• Have experiences with QM Methods (e.g. FMEA, 8D, Statistics, PSDM, SIPOC, Information Mapping, Business Process Management, etc.)
• Good written and spoken English Skill
• Excellent communication and technical presentation skills
• Good analytic thinking
• Cross functional thinking and broad technical understanding
• Able to balance the needs of the Supplier and those of ADVA
• Experiences with Optical industry preferred
