Title: Quality Inspector

Job Summary:

Wilton Brands is a craft and celebration leader, where great people deliver innovative products and exceptional customer service. The position of Quality Technician reports to the Quality Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine onsite inspection and process audit to ensure outgoing product’s quality.

• Daily report to Quality Engineer and other related team after finish inspection.

• Monitor vendors conducting product testing and confirm result according to test plan from QE in NPD stage.

• Facilitate the pre-production meeting, ensure smooth transition from product development stage to mass production. Own the mass production readiness in supplier factory.

• Train vendor's inspectors according to inspection plan from QE for each category product, ensure vendors’ outgoing inspection capability.

• For customer complaints, support QE and work with vendors to determine root cause and implement corrective actions.

• Regular evaluation of vendor's quality performance.

• Feedback to team of supplier's potential risk caused by the change on people, machine, material, method and environment.

• Other task assigned by QE or Quality Supervisor

Knowledge, skills and abilities

• Detailed understanding of World Class Quality Management principles and their application within complex industrial environment.

• High degree of initiative, accountability and ability to work with minimal instruction.

• Strong Teamwork / Interpersonal skills and possess desire to succeed.

• Excellent written and reading communication in English are required.

• Experienced in vendor quality management, especially process control and inspector training

Education and/or experience

• Two-year college diploma is preferred.

• Above 5 years related experience and/or training/ or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

• Solid work experience in quality inspection.

• Interfacing and collaborating with suppliers

• Proven track record of quality improvements in industrial environments fields.

• Base in Zhejiang
