Job Description

·Support and train users in existing Talon ERP applications

·Document and trouble-shoot ERP problems

·Design, plan, implement, develop, debug and test computer applications and services for use in Talon China and throughout Talon International information systems, working with IT staff and business users to translate business user requirements into specified projects

·Plan and oversee testing and implementation of new and modified programs; produce project feasibility reports

·Provide business focused analytical and project management support to internal users, working closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

·Develop reports in Crystal Reports

·Develop standards and procedures documentation, training, and other materials as needed by users

·Participate in SOX testing and support

·Cover for other IT staff when needs arise

Minimum Requirements

·College degree in information technology, information management, computer engineering, computer science or similar.

·Experience in a systems analyst position

·Experience with ERP systems and good understanding of business data flow

·Experience working with MS SQL Server, MS Windows Operating Systems, MS Office

·Experience in relational database systems such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle or Microsoft Access for reporting, data modeling and SQL programming

·Certification in a programming language such as Pro IV / C++ / Java / .NET is desired

·Experience working and developing with Crystal Reports

·Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin. Good to fluent in written and spoken English

·Effective written and oral communication skills

·Ability to communicate instructions and proposals effectively

·Ability to use good judgment in evaluation and decision making

·Ability to manage time effectively, to work under time pressure, to meet schedules and deadlines, to problem-solve, multi-task, to plan, organize and prioritize work assignments and pay close attention to detail

·Self-motivated and persistent
