Job Description

Primary Objective:
1. Responsible for developing new software to run on manufacturing test fixtures used in a mass production environment to test
consumer electronics products.
2. Provide expert professional support to Riverwood's customers in all areas related to automated manufacturing test and
manufacturing test data collection and storage.
3. Passionately drive operational excellence, continuous improvement, and execution to provide "6 Star Service" to increase
customer satisfaction.
4. Exemplify the Riverwood Culture.

Major Areas of Accountability:

1. Ensure customers are successful with their manufacturing test systems and that manufacturing test data is properly collected
and stored. Anticipate problems and take initiative to avoid, mitigate, or resolve issues.
2. Provide expert guidance to customers to improve their manufacturing test schemes and provide support to develop new
software to run on manufacturing test fixtures and also maintain existing software already running on manufacturing test
fixtures.
3. Write clear test plans and also clear specifications of any test fixtures or test software designed.
4. Ensure individual metrics are clearly defined, and take initiative to achieve metrics and objectives with minimal support.
5. Make regular presentations of status, issues, and initiatives to manager and to customers.
6. Ability to work independently.

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, or similar Master's degree preferred.

Experience Required:
Successful candidates must have 5+ years' experience in an OEM company or CM/EMS supplier with emphasis on automated test equipment development, and new product introduction. Experience working for a test equipment development supplier is highly desired. Candidates must have experience writing medium-size software programs in at least 3 of the following programming languages C, C++, Java, Python, VisualBasic, or LabView.

Skills Required:
Specific and demonstrated ability includes, but is not limited to:
1. Knowledge of professional software coding standards and ability to write and document stable, easily maintainable software
code.
2. Ability to use software development tools such as compilers, linkers, debuggers, emulators, and network analyzers.
3. Experience working with databases for simple additions and queries, as well as working with network sockets.
4. Knowledge of basic statistical analysis and be able to make basic reports on test data.
5. Ability to work effectively with engineers from different specialties to create effective test equipment and plans.
6. Ability to provide clear feedback to US and EU customers in English regarding test equipment development and
manufacturing test development status.
7. Ability to write professional reports in English with clear, concise, data-driven conclusions.
8. Ability to listen effectively to clients, suppliers, colleagues, etc.
9. Willingness and desire to communicate openly and honestly at all times.
10. Manage multiple tasks, set priorities, solve complex problems, and make decisions.
11. Respond positively to challenges and work effectively under pressure.
12. Travel frequently to all different levels of suppliers in the Pearl River Delta region, in China, and occasionally overseas.
