Position Title: Wellhead Service Technician

Department: Drilling & Well Engineering

Location: Tanggu, P.R.China

Reports to: Completions Engineering Manager

PURPOSE:

？ Perform Company’s onshore and offshore wellhead services requirements of performance, quality and safety in line with COMPANY’s HSE MS.

？ Perform Wellhead Services and maintain equipment to fully implement the Company’s expectations.

？ Prepare and maintain full wellhead and Xmas tree maintenance for all existing wellheads and service tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

HSE

？ Responsible for personal safety and that of direct reports.

？ Perform work to meet COMPANY’s HSE-MS in line with company expectations.

？ Create, implement and enhance a safety culture by providing direction, resources and constructively challenging safety standards.

？ Investigate incidents and accidents to maximise learning and prevent recurrence.

？ Responsible for maintaining HSE standards for wellhead services and maintenance aspects of the equipment.

COORDINATION AND PLANNING

？ Provide support for offshore personnel as and when required.

？ Manage wellhead spares stock, provide regular inventory reports and provide MR lists for equipment orders.

？ Identify equipment shortages in advance so parts can be ordered in a timely manner.

？ Liaise with warehouse to ship equipment offshore.

OPERATIONS & ENGINEERING

？ Provide offshore wellhead and Xmas tree installation services and service tools maintenance as required.

？ Provide onshore wellhead and Xmas tree maintenance services as required.

？ Maintain wellhead and spares inventory.

？ Ensure wellhead, Xmas tree and service tools are tested in the warehouse as per procedures.

？ Set operational standards and procedures for the Well Services Department.

REPORTING / ADMINISTRATION

？ Prepare technical reports as required.

？ Ensure accurate and timely reporting of onshore/offshore operations as required.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

？ Sufficient experience and detailed knowledge of the types of wellhead equipment being installed and maintained.

？ Minimum of 2 years wellhead experience, of which at least 1 years should have been on the well site.

？ Expertise in the following areas: well services, completion design, wellhead and Xmas tree design and maintenance, slickline equipment and processes, HSE management, service company management, offshore experience.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

？ Onshore position with trips offshore as required.

？ Ongoing requirement to be ‘on call’ at all times on a 24 hour basis.
