The Sourcing Engineer will posses strong ethics and values to lead resourcing activities within Eaton's high ethical standards, and will follow all applicable policies and procedures. This resource will be responsible for all sourcing, negotiations and qualification activities, related to new suppliers. This position will also develop sourcing strategies and processes to help facilitate excellence regarding, on time delivery, quality, lead times, cost and economics. The Regional Commodity Manager will leverage the Filtration Business and regional SCM organizations, as required, and will partner with them in sourcing selection, negotiations and cost out opportunities. Key performance metrics will be aligned with the organization and include Supplier OTD, DPPM and direct material cost out. The resource will locate dependable, quality, low cost suppliers throughout the region, and work to re-source supplied components. This includes sand castings, investment castings, stampings, square and round bar stock,and machining activities.



Basic Qualifications:

a.Bi-lingual is required (English and Chinese)
b.Flexible and adapts easily to different environments
c.Results and details oriented
d.Negotiation skills
e.Experience and knowledge of ERP systems ( MFG/Pro is an asset)
f.Bachelor degree in Engineering preferably mechanical and/or Business Administration or equivalent (e.g. Supply Chain Management) Professional supply chain qualification such as APICS - CPIM and / or ISM - CPSM is desirable
g.Self starter who is self motivated
h.Assertive in nature
