Morningstar (Shenzhen) Ltd. develops innovative investment solutions for a broad array of institutional investors. Our customized solutions include tactical and strategic asset allocation, fund selection, construction of model portfolios, and management of funds of funds.
The Role: As a Morningstar Investment Consultant, you will help Morningstar China clients meet their investment management, analysis, monitoring, education, and communication needs. This position is based in our Shenzhen office.
Responsibilities
+ Analyze mutual funds and other investments through working knowledge of modern portfolio theory.
+ Determine client-specific needs and customize solutions to these needs in a structured and timely manner.
+ Interact with fund managers and senior executives.
+ Lead and complete complex projects within strict guidelines.
+ Client training
Requirements
+ Ability to analyze investment companies, mutual funds, hedge funds, exchange-traded funds, and other investments, both in isolation and within a portfolio.
+ Familiarity with China fund markets and extensive knowledge of fixed-income investments is desirable.
+ Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
+ Clear and concise reporting and investment writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
+ A master degree (or its equivalent) is required, in addition to CFA level I and progress towards the CFA designation.
+ Fluency in both Chinese and English in written and public speech.
+ Minimum of 3 years' experience as an analyst
