Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and development of the automotive loudspeakers/products according to customer specifications and within the timeframe of the project planning.

2. Responsible for the in time delivery of the required documentation of mechanical during development & report project development results and outputs to the global project manager.

3. Interact and communicate with acoustical & electrical development engineers and global project team members when designing the mechanical aspects of loudspeakers and sound product.

4. Interfacing with external suppliers on technical issues to create a pro-active involvement of the suppliers.

5. To release mechanical parts and to ensure that technical specification are met.




Academic/Professional Qualification: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.



Working Experience: minimum 6 years experience in product design of automotive loudspeakers or products using Pro-Engineer Wildfire or Catia. Knowledge in using Pro-Intralink/PDM will have advantage. Knowledge in using Pro-E other modules such as Cabling, Tolerance and Mechanica will have advantage also.



Expertise/Skills:

1. Must have knowledge and experience of plastic tooling, metal stamping, plastic injection molding, cable, foam, label printing technique and manufacturing processes pertinent to product design.

2. Must have knowledge in DFMEA, GD&T and Tolerance Stack-Up Analysis. Knowledge in SQC will be added advantage.

3. Have good analytical skills on product and hands on at solving technical problem with Quality Tools.

4. Hands on part approval process.



Language skills: Fluent in English (both writing and verbal) and Mandarin
