INTERSPORT Sporting Goods (SHENZHEN) Co. Ltd. is the wholly-owned of IIC-INTERSPORT International, located in Shatoujiao, Shen Zhen, mainly in charge of garment merchandising, inspection and documentation.
To cope with our business requirements, we are seeking a professional of high caliber to fill the following position:
Garment Quality Assurance Specialist
Reporting to Garment QA Manager, the incumbent will be located in Shenzhen.
Job Descriptions
Quality system and standard
- Support in setting up standards and procedures for IOF quality system and develop QA manual
- Maintain QA records and statistical information for supplier evaluation analysis
- Keep an updated filing system for the manual/guideline of each department to ensure Merchandising and QC have the most updated information for daily work including inspection
Fitting and sizing for Asia market
- Build up basic block user guidelines to support communication between IIC, IOF, and supplier
- Develop basic block patterns and system of Asian fits, execute fittings
- Pattern making and communicate pattern adjustment to suppliers
- Develop Asian grading system
- Create and control measurement chart
- Create manual guidelines (workmanship standard e.g. sewing, welding, labeling, taping and other manufacturing processes)
Sample approval
- Check and approve sizing and PP sample
Technical support
- Develop training guidelines with head QC to work with suppliers
- Work closely with MD team and QC and suppliers on samples and inspections to find workable solutions to quality issues
- Technical supervision and support throughout the entire process of product development
- Make mock up to supplier as a reference so that supplier can easy understand what we need.
Requirements:
- College degree in apparel/textile design and/or technology
- Min 5years relevant QA working experience
- Experience in Asian Fitting
- Knowledge of quality regulations in Asian market is a plus
- Proactive in communication, research and analysis
- Extensive product and material knowledge as well as manufacturing process of garment
- Pattern making skills and a trained eye for exact fits, preferably knowledge of European and Asian pattern system/body difference
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin
