Job Summary:
Belkin is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional that will ensure we continue to successfully launch amazing new products that customers love, and accelerate Belkin’s profitable growth over the coming years. The NPI Manager will successfully move products out of development and into mass production / Launch for assigned Business Units. The NPI Manager’s primary responsibility is to manage our ODM supply base to properly scale capacity, materials and tooling to support the product launch. In addition, the NPI Manager will work closely with engineering, Product Management and Program Management to manage risks associated with BOM changes and fluctuating launch demands as mass production nears. If production is constrained to launch requirements, the NPI Manager will work with Global and Regional Product Management team to prioritize shipments. This position requires extremely strong communication skills and partnership skills to maintain solid working relationship with key suppliers and internal constituents.
Specific Responsibilities:
Once a project starts the development process, work with Engineering and ODM to analyze all BOM components and identify Long Lead-Time parts.
If necessary, work with BU and Finance to launch “risk buys” of long lead-time components.
Work with ME team and ODM to identify tooling capacity assumptions and propose investments in tooling to meet launch and on-going demand.
Work with ODM to understand cycle times / line capacity and propose investments in lines/equipment to meet launch and on-going demand.
Work with ODM to verify that all materials are ordered at lead-time to support launch quantities.
Conduct weekly “Clear To Build” (CTB) meetings with Global Planning and ODM to verify all required production is committed by ODM.
Work with Global Planning team to transition on-going supply/demand matching once we have successfully launched the product.
Partner with cross-functional teams on Belkin’s product lifecycle management process, E2.
Fulfill responsibilities under ISO 9001 and 14001; understand and fully support IS0 system.
Comply with Health and Safety requirements of Belkin.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned and required.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor degree required.
Minimum of 5 years of purchasing/sourcing experience.
Exceptional computer literacy including proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
