We seek, dynamic, creative and most importantly highly motivated individuals to fill the position of:

Cloud Engineer

(Location: Donghua Park, Shenzhen, China)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Reports functionally to the Cloud Architect

· Develop cloud transition infrastructure technologies and functionalities to migrate existing FCS product suite onto cloud base solutions, working hand in hand with project teams to implement these technologies

· Design and implementation to ensure high availability (HA), high performance, multi-geographical locations of our solution suite

· Develop capabilities within our solution to cater for on demand charging model for our customers in the hospitality domain.

· Conduct proof of concepts for cloud solutions

· Modify or develop standards and procedures governing the installation, configuration and operation of virtualization technologies and services

· Conduct load and performance testing in order to scope up the type of infrastructure requirements for different hosting solutions

· Identify performance bottleneck of our current SW stack in a cloud environment and work with project teams in designing and implementing a more scalable solution

· Design and implement system monitoring capabilities of our cloud infrastructure and transition these monitoring tasks to the system administrators

REQUIREMENTS :

· Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology

· At least 2 year of SW web application development experience

· Strong Java / .NET development competency

· Linux / Microsoft Windows system administration skills

· Domain experience in IT infrastructure, network, systems and hosted services.

· Experience in cloud SaaS and PaaS is a plus.

· Data-center network infrastructure knowledge

· Web Server (Tomcat/IIS) cluster management

· Hypervisors/Virtualization

· Working knowledge of AWS.

· Working Knowledge of Google AppEngine, Microsoft Azura will be a plus

· Some travel between FCS engineering sites in Malaysia, Singapore and Shenzhen and customers locations will be required from time to time (10%).
