Responsibilities:

1) In charge of hardware (Analogue design including Current transformer, Voltage transformer, analogue chain) schematic design/debug, working with eCAD Engineer to complete PCB layout design.

2) Work with project design leader to complete design definition and hardware specification.

3) Supporting for all cross-functional teams during R&D phase.

• Work with Software board bring-up in lab.
• Work with Quality for all delivers (ECSQ etc.)
• Work with Purchaser for low BOM Cost
• Work with Industrialization/EMS plant for EP/MP/PR Blank PCB/PCBA manufacture
• Work with Certification to solve all EMC/EMI issues.
• Work with Validation team to solve all issues.

4) Work with a cross-functional global team in multiple time zones.

Qualifications

1) Strong interpersonal skills is a must.

The position requires closely working with eCADs, Mechanical CADs, software, certification, Industrialization, validation, internal Schneider Plant as well as outside vendors (EMS plant etc.).

2) Analogue acquisition system design capability.

Mandatory:

• Familiar with Mentor or Cadence EDA tools.
• At least 5-7 years experiences of current transformer and voltage transformer design, as well as signal chain acquisition system design.
• Deep knowledge of analogue signal chain design, data acquisition design.
• Must be a major designer in one or more project.
• Familiar with solving EMC/EMI related issue.
• Familiar with Blank PCB/PCBA manufacture.
• Strong lab skills with hands on soldering components, operating oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators etc.

Optional:

• Knowledge of FPGA Logic (RTL) design is a plus.
• Served for competitors like NARI, ABB, SIMENS is a plus.

3) Must be a self-motivated team player with good oral and written English communication skills, and strong sense of ownership.

4) BS, MS(Preferred) in Electrical Engineering/ Electromagnetism etc., at least 7 years for dedicated analogue signal chain design (voltage transformer/ current transformer design experience is a must), board bring-up experience.
