About the Role:
On a day to day basis this commitment requires the associate to support the operations of the Quality team, improve quality system & procedure effectiveness, review product performance, interact with manufacturing and business functions, and drive continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and monitor the key product performance measures and drive improvement in a preventive approach
- Partner with cross function team to understand the impact of process and raw material variables on product attributes and drive appropriate improvements
- Be responsible for plant quality management system & procedure effectiveness
- Partner with Development Engineers and Product Specialists to verify capability and conformance to design specifications of new products
- Partner with the Process Engineer for process capability and product performance validation
- Be the owner of assigned product group performance (from sign off, to bulk production, to internal/external changes, to customer complaint)
- Drive in-depth trouble-shooting systematically within the supply chain, including appropriate risk assessment and fact based decision making
Required Qualifications:
- Expertise in ISO 9001 or GMP quality management system, know how to establish quality system and proactively drive process improvement
- Track record of effective problem solving and statistical analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, ability to influence others to drive change, work with cross function teams in a multi-culture environment
- Strong data processing and analysis experience and capability
- Proven written and oral English communication skill
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, initiate, and drive projects to completion (project management skills)
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or DoE or lean manufacturing and understanding of metrology tools
- Desired experience with product and process validation in continuous manufacturing.
- Experience on textile industry, have knowledge of textile, color shade management
