Job Responsibilities:

? Develop, implement and evaluate policies and procedures for the operation of Hotel property.

? Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses for Hotel departments.

? Participate in the development of pricing and promotional strategies for Hotel property.

? Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies.

? Negotiate with domestic and international clients for the use of Hotel facilities for conventions, banquets, receptions and other functions.

? Recruit and supervise staff, oversee training and set work schedules for all Hotel departments.

? Resolve customer complaints in a timely and effective manner.

Job Requirements:

? 3+ years of hands-on hotel management experience.

? A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or other related discipline.

? Proficient in written and spoken English. Only candidates with valid Canadian Benchmark Level 5 minimum test scores will be considered.

? Ability to supervise more than 20 employees.

? Experience managing division budgets up to CDN$1.5 M.

? Advanced user of business equipment and computer applications.

? Proficient in spoken Mandarin and, or Cantonese.

Work location will be in Bedford Nova Scotia Canada.

Company will assist successful candidate with Canadian Permanent Resident application processing.
