职位描述

负责仓储物流中心的运营支持,包括但不限于盘库,支持物料采购,IT相关协调,物管协调等。

需要英文口语交流能力


Mission/purpose of the Job

- Maintain standard work processes, manage the DC footprint and local facility change management.

- Manage warehouse related projects and activities to meet and continuously improve the desired organizational performance targets.

- Manage environmental, safety and security activities to meet and continuously improve upon Volvo and legal requirements

- Responsible for maintaining and repairing mobile equipment, IT equipment and facilities to maintain maximum uptime of operations within the site complex. Manager internal activities and external contractors in conjunction with Volvo Group Real Estate (VGRE).

- Deliver ISO training and record compliance as required.

- Process & IT contact person for all Logistics services departments in the warehouse.

- Responsible for Inventory accuracy via planned cycle counting, bin checks, quality checks.

- Support operations thru the procurement of variances to all supplies and maintenance of all packaging materials.

- Supervise performance overall from 3PL.

- Conduct regular insurance claims.

- Lead and act according to the Volvo Way.

Key responsibilities/Accountabilities

Formalize and implement best practice logistics footprint for the China DCs via logistics and engineering expertise to improve operational performance in the warehouse.

Challenge management to look for further efficiency to reach operational excellence in the organization.

Benchmark other warehouses and competitors for best practices and results.

Set the rules for stocktaking activities for the warehouse.

Champion the culture aimed at giving a strong image of China within LS in line with Volvo Group values and principles including the Volvo Way and Volvo Group Code of Conduct.

Deliver all services within the agreed and committed overall budget objectives.

To continually inspire, develop and motivate the people resources within China.. 

The Manager DC Operational Support is part of DC management team.

Fulfilment of financial and operational KPI’s for the China DCs, such as:

Operational expenses Variance analysis

Property, Warehouse, Equipment investment planning

Perpetual stock taking of inventory

ISO work instructions and process flow maps

Packaging depot productivity and quality

PERSONAL PROFILE

Essential educational and/or training qualifications and certificates

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) and/or 5 - 7 years of equivalent experience 

5 years related experience in the areas noted below

Demonstrating good competences in the Volvo Leadership competencies with documented experience of leading people

Broad knowledge of logistics area and customer knowledge

Experience from production or transportation environment is an advantage

Demonstrated ability to drive change, to set demanding targets and to motivate teams and individuals to deliver on set targets, whilst further developing an excellent working climate and atmosphere in alignment with the Volvo Way and the Code of Conduct.

Knowledge in VPS and lean principles

High Logistics Engineering knowledge


Preferred experience and knowledge

Minimum 3 years of management experience, preferably in related field.

Logistics experience

Able to demonstrate a clear vision, global mindset and successful people and culture leadership and integration, in the geographical scope (global, regional, domestic)

Demonstrated ability to drive change to set demanding targets and to motivate teams and individuals to deliver outside their comfort zones.

Necessary technical/functional/language skills

Good understanding of our Group Businesses

Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel and Power Point

Proficient English skills

Native speaker in Mandarin.
