YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?    Contributes to development of APAC innovation sourcing strategy
?    Take a leadership role in the scouting community of the Innovation Sourcing  team of OISP (Open Innovation & Strategic Partnerships) and beyond, cultivating agility among internal stakeholders
?    Be knowledgeable of the technical portfolio priorities, R&D-enabling gaps and emerging technologies to effectively scout externally
?    Comply with the use of OISP-internal IT tools to document, monitor and evaluate external partners
?    Represent Bayer in important regional conferences being part of advisory boards, panel discussions or a speaker
?    Stays on top of novel technologies in APAC through literature search and networking with scientific communities
?    Effectively interacts with external technology providers in APAC to identify and enable a broad range of partnerships
?    Drives cross-functional teams in evaluation of potential partnership opportunities
?    Effectively manages major partnerships in APAC to ensure deliverables and timely communication with stakeholders
?    Ensures data analysis, data transfer and data storage of collaboration data from APAC
?    Attends outreaching events and represents Bayer at scientific conferences

WHO YOU ARE
?    Ph.D. from top schools in plant genetics, chemistry, molecular biology, bioinformatics, biochemistry, breeding or other related fields
?    More than 3 years of work experience in a life science research environment
?    Be familiar with internal and external technology scouting tools
?    Discovery pipeline and IP knowledge is highly desired
?    Extensive business network within the Ag research community in APAC
?    Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical staff and convey complex ideas both verbally and in written form in both Chinese and English
?    Strong analytical, and negotiation skills
?    Hard working, down-to-earth, mature and team-oriented
?    High level of integrity, dedication and motivation
